MAGIX Review Movie Edit Pro 16 Plus
Movie Modify Pro used to be a expansive blunder, but for edition 15, Magix got its act together and provided a capable, friendly manager with much to suggest it. In this newest launch, we’re pleased to see that its designers have focused on enhancing current functions rather than returning to their old routines of simply including more. The schedule is where the wide large of modifying happens, so the structured schedule manages are extremely welcome, even if they are duplicated general from Sony models Nevada. Each video clip has manages for truncating, removal in or out and modifying the opacity or sound amount. The actual two segments instantly makes a melt conversion. These manages are sensitive, too, preventing the wading-through-treacle impact that some publishers display. Review performance was frustratingly varying, though. Sometimes our test PC was able to play four several AVCHD sources, but at other times, two sources was as much as it could handle. We also found that including only one impact to only one video clip could impact performance, and exports were more slowly than with most other publishers. Projects can now contain up to 99 paths, and we really like how each monitor allows any type of press. Other publishers keep video clip and music individual, but Magix’s strategy makes the schedule much more tidy. Another nice touch is that the software provides to go with the project’s requirements to the first brought in video clip. New to edition 16 is additional color modification, which modifications only particular colors in videos clip. Unfortunately, though, both the perfection of the choice and the modification manages are missing. Cd publishing has been redeveloped, and you can now make AVCHD disks as well as DVD Video and Blu-ray. The headings manager has been remodeled, too, and contains some layouts that handle to be eye-catching yet moderate – a relaxing change from the showy styles in most home-oriented publishers. Some layouts appear on the schedule as several things on individual paths. This might befuddle informal customers but others will appreciate the accurate control it gives you. It’s also possible to choose from a variety of 3D written text results, although it took us a while to work out how to place our own written text. A discussion box recommended that we “use the quick access box in the headline menu”. A more useful training would have been, “Double simply select the preview”. Complicated information such as this are not as common as they were in past editions, but they are not disappeared completely. Travel path movement is detailed among the new functions, even though it was presented in edition 15. Formerly this was complimentary of a third-party plug-in but this time it’s Magix’s own. Unfortunately, it has less options than before and its animated graphics are awkward, but the map looks wiser and now contains the whole world. It’s still remarkably Euro-centric, though, choosing to take the long path from Asia to USA rather than traversing the Worldwide Date Line. A stripped-down edition of Film Modify Pro without the Plus suffix is available for £39. It does not have nearly all the functions described above and needs an update for MPEG-4 assistance. The cut-price Sony models Nevada Film Studio room HD 9 is a far better probability. Evaluating the top dollar editions, Magix’s manager has a broader variety of functions, but despite latest upgrades, Sony models Film Studio room HD Jewelry 10’s classy interface makes Magix’s manages still seem awkward.
